Keep Your Brows Well-Maintained and in Harmony With Your Face
First, let’s talk about the most important thing: your brows. Your eyebrows are one of the first things people notice when they look at you and can make or break your overall appearance. The problem is that it’s hard to know how to shape them correctly without a little help from platform. Click here to learn more!
The round shaped brow is perfect for people who have a wider face or just want their natural brows without any work doing. All you have to do is brush them upwards with the spoolie from whichever side they naturally grow (usually down). I know many people don’t like how high-maintenance this sounds but trust me–it’s not hard at all when brushing upward because it’s following the direction hair already grows in.
Square shaped brows are perfect for people with a more angular face or who want their eyebrows to make that strong, harsh look. This type of eyebrow needs some special care because you don’t want them looking too unkempt! If your hair grows downward (most cases), then brush it upward and leave about an inch in between each side brushed upwards–a little longer if hairs grow up towards the forehead area. To give this shape a softer feel, use brown eye shadow on top of your natural color and gently brush through from both sides. You can also fill in sparse areas using either wax or powder depending upon what’s best for you! Remember that there are no hard and fast rules when it comes to eyebrows.
Heart shaped brows are perfect for people with a rounder face or who want their eyebrows to soften that harsh line of the square eyebrow. You’re going to brush your hairs up from both sides but you will only leave an inch in between each side–no more than two inches because this type of eyebrow looks best understated (you can always go back and fill them in, though!). I find most heart shaped brows look better if they have long lengths which can’t be achieved without some kind of wax so pick whatever works best for you!
